TEHRAN – Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki, heading a high-ranking delegation, left Tehran late on Tuesday to pay an official visit to Baghdad.

Mottaki is to pursue previous agreements signed between Iran and Iraq during the Iraqi premier’s visit to Iran and attend Iran-Iraq joint committee meeting in Baghdad.
Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki came to Tehran last month to hold talks with Iranian officials on mutual interests.
Mottaki will also hold talks with senior Iraqi officials
